It is high time for us to document life as we know it! Now that our little one is here, Marc and I agreed that we need a decent way to share updates, photos and milestones. We want something more personal than Facebook (my how that's changed in the past few years!) so here we are in our own little corner of the internet! Hopefully this will make the miles feel shorter between us and our loved ones.
Kate AnnMarie Leonard was born on December 18th, 2016 and has been the absolute best gift we could ever receive. It was such a fun experience to not find out her gender for the duration of the pregnancy. I just knew it was a boy the whole time (ha, so much for mother's intuition!) while Marc had the right guess. My exact words were "it's a girl?!?" exclaimed in complete disbelief when she entered the world. Then I proceeded to pull her out of the doctor's hands. She's our girl and we are so in love.

We love you, Kate!
Our photographer Laurel was so sweet and patient with Kate. Our eleven day old baby had been pretty content 95% of the time... until her session. Go figure. Perhaps she has a bit of stage fright. I love the ones Laurel was able to capture. They're natural and perfectly Kate... and nothing you'd see in an Anne Geddes calendar! I'm looking forward to her 3 month session which is just over a month away! Time, please slow down!
